The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city presented a television to Ms. Nguyen Thi Mung's family at the house inauguration ceremony. |
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mung is a single-parent household, with her three children living in a temporary, dilapidated house at 14B/238 Bui Thi Xuan. Understanding that situation, Phuong Duc ward has included Ms. Mung's family in the program "Eliminating temporary, dilapidated houses" in 2025.
The house was newly built with a total budget of more than 300 million VND. In addition to the 60 million VND of the program, the whole ward mobilized through the "Bricks of Love" fund to support an additional 74 million VND and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city supported 20 million VND; some benefactors supported additional bricks, cement and family contributions.
After moving into the newly built house, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mung said: "My family's dream of a solid house has come true. I am very happy and grateful for the attention of the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and the benefactors who helped me realize that dream."
