Hanoi University of Science and Technology benchmark: A00 will be 0.5 points higher than D01

The benchmark score of Hanoi University of Science and Technology will have a difference between the 2 groups. The groups A00, A01, A02, B00, D07, D26, D28, D29 and K01 will be 0.5 points higher than the groups D01 and D04.

This morning, July 18, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the difference in scores between admission groups, the conversion table of standard scores and the predicted admission scores for each major.

According to this announcement, the benchmark scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology for majors using both combination A00 and combination D01 for admission will differ by 0.5 points.

In 2025, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will use 11 admission combinations, including: A00, A01, A02, B00, D07, D26, D28, D29 and K01 ( Thanh Nien Newspaper temporarily calls these combinations group 1), D01 and D04 (temporarily called group 2).

After reviewing the 2025 high school graduation exam score data and analyzing the score distribution of each combination that Hanoi University of Science and Technology used for admission, the university's admissions board decided that there must be a difference between the two groups of combinations according to the method of using high school graduation exam scores.

Specifically as follows:

The difference in standard scores between combination D01 and combination A00 of Hanoi University of Science and Technology will be 0.5 points.

Thus, the combinations of the same group 1 (including A00, A01, A02, B00, D07, D26, D28, D29 and K01) used for admission to the technical group will not have a difference in scores. The combinations of the same group 2 (including D01 and D04) used for admission to the economic , education and foreign language groups will also not have a difference in scores.

But for industries that simultaneously use the combination of both groups, the benchmark of group 1 combinations (A00, A01, A02, B00, D07, D26, D28, D29 and K01) will be 0.5 points higher than the benchmark of group 2 combinations (D01, D04).

For example, the FL3-Chinese for Science and Technology program is recruiting with 3 high school graduation score combinations: K01 (group 1), D01 and D04 (group 2). If the admission score according to the combination of D01 and D04 (group 2) is 20 points, then the admission score according to the combination of K01 (group 1) is 20.5 points.

Or the finance - banking industry uses 4 admission combinations, including A00, A01, K01 (group 1) and D01 (group 2). If the benchmark score for combinations A00, A01, K01 is 25 points, the benchmark score for combination D01 is 24.5 points.
