Accordingly, the minimum score of 24 applies to majors in the Computer and Information Technology group. The score of 22 applies to the remaining majors. Candidates must achieve this score to be eligible to register for the school.
Previously, the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University and Foreign Trade University also announced this minimum score in their admission information in January, but have not yet officially announced it.
Details of expected enrollment targets and majors in 2025 are as follows:

Compared to last year, in 2025, the University of Technology is expected to open 4 new majors including: Biotechnology (bioengineering technology program); electronic and telecommunications engineering technology oriented towards microchip design; materials technology (materials and electronic circuit technology program); data science ( data science and engineering program).
Last year, the University of Technology enrolled 2,960 students for 17 regular university training majors in 3 fields: Computer and information technology; engineering technology; and engineering.
On the same day, Vietnam Women's Academy announced the expected admission score for 2025, which may decrease by 1-3 points.
In particular, the minimum score for admission based on high school exam scores in 2025 starts from 15. The Academy's benchmark score in 2025 may change by 1-3 points depending on the major, combination and admission method compared to 2024.
The admission scores for majors with math and English are expected to decrease by 1-3 points.
Note, the expected benchmark score for the C00 combination may be equivalent to the benchmark score in 2024 (in hot majors) or decrease by 1-2 points in the remaining majors, increasing the difference compared to other combinations by about +1-3 points.

In the A00/A01/D01 group, the score is equivalent to the 2024 benchmark score, with the majors of Economics , IT, Business Administration, and Law.
In addition to considering exam scores, the school considers the same academic record as last year, which is about 24-28 points in popular majors.
According to the Academy of Policy and Development , the threshold for ensuring input quality (floor score) this year is 19.0 points for majors calculated on a 30-point scale and 25.5 points for majors calculated on a 40-point scale.
This floor score includes the total score of the 2025 high school graduation exam according to the admission combination, along with priority points for subjects, regions and other types of admission priorities according to regulations.
In 2025, the Academy of Policy and Development will recruit students according to the following methods: recruitment according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; recruitment based on the results of the high school graduation exam; recruitment based on high school academic results (reviewing transcripts); using results from prestigious national capacity assessment and thinking assessment exams, including exams of Hanoi National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Hanoi Pedagogical University for recruitment.
In particular, with the combined admission method, candidates can use their high school academic results with one of the following criteria: possessing an international language certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC...), having an international competency certificate (SAT, ACT, A-Level...), or winning prizes in provincial/municipal excellent student competitions.
