Arriving at Ban Heo village - the hometown of comrade Luong Van Tri in mid-August 2025, on the road leading to the comrade Luong Van Tri Memorial House, rows of red flags were fluttering on both sides of the road; the elderly and children in the village were busy tidying up, cleaning the exhibition area, and cleaning the village streets and alleys to prepare for the anniversary of comrade Luong Van Tri's birthday.

Leading us to visit the exhibition area of images, documents and artifacts about comrade Luong Van Tri, Mr. Luong Van Nam - nephew of comrade Luong Van Tri could not hide his pride: I am the son of Mr. Luong Van Nhan (brother of comrade Luong Van Tri). I still remember clearly the story that my father often told about the revolutionary struggle of uncle Luong Van Tri. Throughout his life of revolutionary activities, that communist soldier constantly strived to study, practice, and cultivate revolutionary moral qualities, had noble ideals, a pure lifestyle, respected morality, valued loyalty, was close to and loved comrades and teammates, and was a shining example with profound educational significance for the younger generation.

Promoting the tradition of their revolutionary homeland, over the years, the people of Ban Heo village have always strived to build and develop their homeland. Ms. Luong Thi Thieu, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Ban Heo village, said: Ban Heo village currently has 140 households, with 610 people, mainly Tay and Nung ethnic people. Over the past years, with the joint efforts of the people, the appearance of Ban Heo village has had positive changes. In early 2024, Tran Ninh commune (old) was selected as a pilot commune striving to meet new rural standards (NTM). In addition to the State's investment resources, the people in the village have donated over 3,000 m2 of land, contributed money and thousands of laborers to join hands to implement the criteria: transportation, irrigation, environment, cultural facilities, etc.

Mr. Phung Van Luong, a resident of Ban Heo village, shared: Born and raised in the revolutionary homeland, I am very proud and always want to contribute a small part of my strength to my homeland here. In 2024, after the village chief propagated the policy of expanding and concreting inter-commune roads, my family donated over 2,000m2 of rice fields and forest land. When the road was concreted and expanded, the travel of the villagers was also more convenient, and the quality of life was gradually improved.

Thanks to the efforts of the whole village, the village's appearance is increasingly improving, the traffic infrastructure and facilities are being improved, and people's lives have changed significantly. Up to now, over 90% of the village's main roads have been concreted; production development models are increasingly effective, people's lives have been improved with economic models such as growing star anise, watermelon, fragrant green squash, J02 rice... Currently, the whole village has only 2 poor households, a decrease of 24 households compared to 2023; the average income per capita of the whole village reaches 46 million VND/person/year... The participation of the entire political system together with the efforts and joint efforts of the people of Ban Heo village have contributed to bringing the commune (formerly Tran Ninh) to meet the new rural standards in 2024.

Ms. Hoang Thi Hieu, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Diem He Commune commented: Over the years, the collective of Ban Heo village has always promoted collective strength, solidarity, and discipline to excellently complete assigned tasks. Thereby, creating a strong influence on the people in the commune. For many consecutive years, the village has achieved the title of cultural residential area; the political security situation, social order and safety in the village have always been maintained; the rate of cultural families every year reaches over 80%. In 2024, the collective of the village was excellently awarded a certificate of merit by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Quan district (old) for its achievements in the Van Quan movement with the whole country to build new rural areas. This is one of the motivations for the people in the area to continue to strive to rise up, firmly believe in the Party's guidelines and the State's policies.

These days, the people of Ban Heo village are actively competing in creative labor with specific and practical actions to celebrate the 115th anniversary of Comrade Luong Van Tri's birthday (August 17, 1910 - August 17, 2025). Thereby, contributing to continuing the glorious tradition, promoting the spirit of solidarity, towards the goal of building the homeland of Xu Lang to develop more and more.
