Cooperation to improve medical capacity for hospitals in the Southern region

Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and Pfizer Vietnam Company have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement a plan to improve medical capacity through specialized training programs and expand connections with a network of experts to meet the practical needs of hospitals in the region and southern provinces and cities.

The cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and Pfizer Vietnam Company Limited (Pfizer Vietnam) focuses on four main activities: supporting professional training on antibiotics, antifungals, vaccines, cardiovascular and cancer; improving capacity for prevention and treatment of infectious diseases; updating medical knowledge; increasing public awareness of common preventable infectious diseases or chronic diseases such as cardiovascular and cancer.

Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Le Khac Bao, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, commented: This cooperation with Pfizer Vietnam marks an important step forward in improving the capacity to provide medical services.
