Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Comrade Le Thi Phuong - Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace emphasized: This is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The exhibition has special significance in the context of the entire Party and people looking forward to the country's major holidays; at the same time, affirming that this is an opportunity to honor Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, review the heroic revolutionary tradition and the aspiration to develop the country in the new period.
Comrade Hoang Dao Cuong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism spoke to acknowledge and highly appreciate the efforts of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site in coordinating with other units to organize a series of activities to celebrate the August Revolution and National Day September 2, contributing to strongly spreading the spirit of patriotism, national pride, the will to be independent, self-reliant and the aspiration for power, from the era of independence, freedom and happiness to the new era.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, delegates and visitors visited the exhibition with more than 200 images, documents, artifacts and publications, vividly recreating the historical milestones of the nation associated with the life and great revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh. The exhibition is divided into 5 parts, comprehensively reflecting important historical periods: from the journey to find a way to save the country, the August Revolution, the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Liberation of the South - reunification of the country, to the cause of innovation and international integration.
The exhibition is also an opportunity to promote the image, culture and tourism potential of Dien Bien province through documents, books and publications introduced at the display area.
The exhibition will be open to visitors from August 15 to the end of December 2025 at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site (No. 1 Hoang Hoa Tham, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi).
