On August 6th, according to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the cruise ship parade will move from 9-9:40 pm and will have low-altitude fireworks for 5 minutes on the Saigon River.

In recent days, when passing by the Saigon Port area (Sea Passenger Port), tourists and locals can see a large floating stage (140m long) built on the river. At night, the stage is lit up, and many actors participate in rehearsals and general rehearsals. This is where the 2-hour art program The River Tells Stories takes place, starting at 8:00 p.m. on August 6.
The river tells stories to tourists and locals through a vivid live art form, recreating the formation of the city through historical periods of Saigon - Gia Dinh - Cho Lon - Ho Chi Minh City in 5 chapters: from Reclamation , Building the citadel , On the wharf, under the boat , Prosperous commercial port to Brilliant riverside city , with the participation of nearly 700 actors, folk artists and artists.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the River Festival has a series of events organized for people and tourists to experience. Specifically: The opening ceremony will be held at 7:00 a.m. on August 4 at the Thu Ngu Flagpole relic (District 1); the space "On the wharf, under the boat" on the Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe canal (from Dien Bien Phu bridge to Thi Nghe bridge) and along the embankment of Ben Binh Dong street; cultural space, art, folk games from August 4 - 6 at Ben Bach Dang park, Lam Son park.
