* Coffee prices increased again today, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in key areas is at 93,700 VND/kg.
Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 93,800 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 91,300 VND/kg and coffee price in Gia Lai is 93,600 VND/kg.

The Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association reported that coffee prices have been pushed too high in recent months, while world coffee production is on the path to recovery. Recent fluctuations are the result of adjustments to actual global supply and demand.
Vietnam exported 943,000 tons of coffee in the first 6 months of the year with a turnover value of 5.4 billion USD, up 4.1% in volume and 66% in turnover compared to the same period last year.
* Pepper prices are stable and at a high level. Currently, the average pepper purchase price in key areas is 140,600 VND/kg.
Specifically, pepper price in Gia Lai is 140,000 VND/kg; pepper price in Ho Chi Minh City is 140,000 VND/kg; pepper price in Dak Lak is 142,000 VND/kg; pepper price in Dong Nai is 140,000 VND/kg; pepper price in Lam Dong is 141,000 VND/kg.
According to experts, after many days of alternating increases and decreases, the pepper market tends to move sideways, reflecting cautious sentiment in the context of slowing buying power and profit-taking activities starting to take place.
Vietnam's pepper export market has stabilized and remained unchanged compared to many previous increases. Currently, the export price of Vietnamese black pepper is at 6,440 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l is at 6,570 USD/ton and the price of white pepper is at 9,150 USD/ton.
* Rice prices in the Mekong Delta fluctuate. The market is small in volume, domestic rice is relatively stable, while fresh rice fluctuates in opposite directions.
According to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice increased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 6,000 - 6,200 VND/kg; OM 18 rice (fresh) decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 6,000 - 6,100 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,100 - 6,200 VND/kg; OM 308 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,700 - 5,900 VND/kg; IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,600 - 5,800 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,800 - 6,000 VND/kg.

Regarding rice, the price of OM 18 raw rice today increased by VND 100/kg, fluctuating at VND 9,600 - 9,700/kg; IR 504 raw rice decreased by VND 100/kg, fluctuating at VND 7,600 - 7,700/kg; CL 555 raw rice fluctuated at VND 8,300 - 8,400/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuated at VND 7,850 - 7,900/kg; 5451 raw rice fluctuated at VND 9,100 - 9,150/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuated at VND 8,800 - 9,000/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at VND 9,500 - 9,700/kg.
At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds are stable. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is VND22,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND13,000 - 14,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice (China) is VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice is VND16,000/kg; Soc rice usually fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice is VND22,000/kg.
In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association, currently 5% standard rice is at 382 USD/ton, 25% broken rice is at 357 USD/ton, and 100% broken rice is at 317 USD/ton.
