At the ceremony, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Quang Ninh province held a Buddha recitation ceremony, praying for national peace and prosperity; read the Buddha's birthday message of the 2569th Buddhist year of the VBS Supreme Patriarch; read the Buddha's birthday speech of the 2569th Buddhist year of the Most Venerable Elder, Chairman of the Executive Council of the VBS, and performed the Buddha bathing ceremony.

Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Buddhist Sangha, spoke at the ceremony.

Vesak, also known as Vesak, is a sacred and important event celebrated annually by monks, nuns, and Buddhists around the world. Vesak commemorates three important events in the life of Buddha Shakyamuni: Buddha's birth, enlightenment, and nirvana. Vesak has been recognized by the United Nations as a world cultural and religious festival for peace since 1999.
