The Executive Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Buddhist Sangha organized the Buddha's Birthday Celebration, Buddhist calendar 2569

At the ceremony, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Quang Ninh province held a Buddha recitation ceremony, praying for national peace and prosperity; read the Buddha's birthday message of Buddhist calendar 2569 from the Supreme Patriarch of the VBS; read the Buddha's birthday speech of Buddhist calendar 2569 by the Most Venerable Elder, Chairman of the VBS Executive Council, and performed the Buddha bathing ceremony.

Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Buddhist Sangha, spoke at the ceremony.

Vesak, also known as Buddha's Birthday, is a sacred and important event celebrated annually by monks, nuns, and Buddhists around the world . Vesak commemorates three important events in the life of Buddha Shakyamuni: Buddha's birth, enlightenment, and nirvana. Vesak has been recognized by the United Nations as a world cultural and religious festival for peace since 1999.

The Buddha's Birthday is not only an occasion for monks, nuns and Buddhists to show gratitude and turn to their Master, but also an occasion for society to honor the good moral and cultural values of Buddhism for social life.
