The final match of Group D Euro 2024 ended with the following results: Netherlands - Austria 2-3 and France - Poland 1-1.

With this result, the Netherlands team has earned 4 points after the group stage ended. The disastrous defeat to Austria pushed them from the top position in the group to 3rd place. Although somewhat disappointing, this achievement is enough to help them qualify for the next round thanks to being one of the four third-place teams with the best results at Euro 2024.

The Netherlands' record is now better than Croatia (2 points, Group B) and Hungary (3 points, Group A). ​​The Netherlands officially advances but will have to wait for the results of the remaining groups to determine their opponents.

Meanwhile, the final match results of Group C were England - Slovenia 0-0 and Denmark - Serbia 0-0. Slovenia finished third in the group. This result was enough for Jan Oblak and his teammates to make history, passing the group stage of a Euro for the first time.

On the other hand, Croatia has been officially eliminated. Coach Zlatko Dalic's team only got 2 points after 3 matches, with a goal difference of -3. They no longer have the ability to enter the group of 4 teams with the best results.
