City Labor Federation: Conducting surveys to develop union members and establishing grassroots unions

On the afternoon of July 18, the working delegation of the Hanoi City Labor Federation (HLF) led by Mr. Le Dinh Hung, Permanent Vice President in charge of the HLF, conducted a survey to develop union members and establish a grassroots union at FANI Import-Export Trading Company Limited.

During the survey, the Delegation provided detailed and specific instructions on the process of establishing a grassroots Trade Union; at the same time, answered questions from the Company regarding procedures for establishing a grassroots Trade Union, admitting union members, etc.

At the survey, a representative of FANI Import-Export Trading Company Limited said that the company currently operates in the field of e-commerce, manufacturing and distributing consumer products such as tissues, mother and baby household items... serving the domestic market.

The company has 2 representative offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; 3 warehouses, 2 production workshops. Production and operation points are always organized according to labor safety standards, have internal control systems, and periodically improve and optimize labor efficiency.

Employees in the Company have been informed about their rights and benefits when joining the Union and have applied to join the Union. On the Company's side, the Board of Directors also wishes to establish a Union to better care for employees.

Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Le Dinh Hung highly appreciated the company's good implementation of activities to care for and ensure welfare for employees and said that this is a solid premise for the Company's Trade Union to operate effectively right after its establishment.

Comrade Le Dinh Hung affirmed that the City Labor Federation will continue to accompany the Company to establish a grassroots Trade Union and always pay attention and support the grassroots Trade Union to perform well the assigned functions and tasks.
