People flocked to the city center to watch Independence Day fireworks.

On the evening of September 2, a large number of people gathered at Hoan Kiem Lake (Hanoi) to watch the fireworks display celebrating the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

At around 7pm, a large crowd of people were present at Hoan Kiem Lake (Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi ) waiting to watch the fireworks.

On National Day, many families choose to wear red clothes with a yellow star printed on the front.

Everyone's face was radiant to welcome Independence Day.

Mr. Hoang Van Ha, Bat Trang commune shared: “My family came here early in the afternoon to avoid traffic jams and have more time to stroll around the old town. The country is entering a new era, we believe that tonight's fireworks display will be very beautiful and meaningful.”

Everyone is happy and excited when the country is developing strongly and people's quality of life is increasingly improved.

People took the opportunity to capture moments on National Day.
