Attending the program were comrade Tran Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Mua A Vang - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province; comrade Giang Thi Hoa - member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Pham Duc Toan - member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province, leaders of provincial departments and branches, representatives of armed forces units; cadres, soldiers and a large number of people and tourists.
The art program “Glory of Vietnam” is a proud epic, connecting the past, present and future. The program is divided into 3 parts, recreating the historical journey of building, defending and developing the country of the Vietnamese people.
Part I “ Proud of My Fatherland ” with performances such as: “Melody of the Fatherland”, “Color of the Flag I Love”, “Offering You a Thousand Lotus Flowers”, “The Day’s Order to Call the Dawn”, “My Fatherland Has Never Been So Beautiful” brings the audience back to the heroic pages of history. Each melody and lyric is a heartfelt gratitude sent to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for independence and freedom. Praising the glorious Party, beloved Uncle Ho, the love for the homeland and the indomitable spirit of the nation. With majestic, lyrical and profound sounds, depicting the image of the beautiful mountains and rivers, the thousand-year-old cultural heritage, the indomitable spirit before all challenges of the Vietnamese people.
Part II “ Pride in Dien Bien ” honors the heroic historical land, where the victory “Resounded throughout the five continents, shook the world” resounded in 1954. Performances such as: “Shining Dien Bien”, “Proud of Dien Bien”, “Forever resounding Dien Bien love song”, “Light of Dien Bien”, “Dien Bien and the country go up” recreated part of the memories of the war period. And also showed that Dien Bien today is putting on a new look, changing every day, striving to integrate and become a bright spot in economic – cultural – tourism development in the new era.
Part III “ Vietnam - The Era of Rising ” is a praise for today, a promise to the future - Where every aspiration merges into national strength, together writing the great epic of Vietnam in the 21st century. Through performances such as: “Vietnamese Spirit”, “Singing Vietnam”, “Continuing the Story of Peace”, “The Country Rising”, “The New Road” praised the achievements of 80 years of independence, peace and development. Expressing the aspiration for a strong, prosperous country, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers. Emphasizing the spirit of solidarity, international integration and friendly cooperation. Affirming the will, intelligence and youth of Vietnam in continuing the story of peace. Each work is a message of gratitude, pride and aspiration to reach far.
With 14 unique singing, dancing and music performances, elaborately and carefully staged, the art program "Glory of Vietnam" left a beautiful impression on the audience. It brought deep emotions in a joyful, excited and proud atmosphere. At the same time, it affirmed absolute trust in the leadership of the Party; expressed deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed their blood for national independence and unification. Thereby, it promoted the will of self-reliance, self-reliance, and the desire for peace of the nation; promoted the spirit of solidarity of the people of all ethnic groups in Vietnam in general and Dien Bien province in particular.
The program ended with a brilliant and jubilant fireworks display – a symbol of freedom, peace and a bright future for Vietnam.
