To ensure the safety of irrigation works during the flood season, the District People's Committee has proactively coordinated with the Provincial Department of Irrigation and Water Resources Management, and owners of lakes and dams to organize inspections to promptly detect damaged, degraded works with potential safety risks and propose remedial measures.
From the beginning of 2025 to now, from the irrigation career fund, 4 degraded reservoir works including: Lo O reservoir (Cu Bong commune), Moa dam (Cu Hue commune), village 10 reservoir (Cu Prong commune) and Ea Rot reservoir (Cu Elang commune) have been repaired, with a total amount of nearly 1.2 billion VND. The District People's Committee directed the units assigned to manage and exploit irrigation works to proactively organize clearing and dredging of flood discharge canals and spillways, ensuring flood drainage capacity, preventing unsafety during the rainy season.
