Before the 2024 High School Graduation Exam took place, the Ministry of Education and Training organized many working groups to inspect preparations for the exam.
On the morning of June 11, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son and the Ministry's working delegation inspected preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam at a number of testing sites in Hau Giang province.
At the examination sites of Vi Thanh High School (Vi Thanh City) and Tam Vu High School (Chau Thanh A District), the Minister inspected the facilities, the locations expected to be the official examination rooms, backup examination rooms, exam management rooms, exam papers, council rooms; the area expected to be the place to mark and grade essay exams in Hau Giang province.
Vi Thanh High School exam site is one of the exam sites with the largest number of candidates in Hau Giang province with 635 candidates and 27 exam rooms.
According to information from Mr. Le Duy Ngoc - Principal, Chairman of the Examination Council of Vi Thanh High School, up to this point, the preparation of the examination site's facilities has been basically completed. In addition to the official examination room, the examination site also arranged 2 backup examination rooms and 2 waiting rooms.
Mr. Ngoc said that the school has also organized to thoroughly disseminate the exam regulations to all students and teachers. Currently, the review work for students is still continuing and is expected to end on June 20. All preparations for the exam are ready.
At the Tam Vu High School exam site, there are 442 candidates taking the exam in 19 exam rooms.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Trung, the school principal, said that the preparations for the exam have been basically completed. In particular, the school is actively implementing review work for students, especially average and weak students. The school has also established a support team for candidates, in previous years the support team has been very active and effective.
Talking with officials and teachers working on organizing the exam at the exam sites of Vi Thanh High School and Tam Vu High School, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son assessed that the exam preparations at the exam sites had been calculated in detail, and the preparation conditions were generally ready.
The Minister highly appreciated the review work for students of the schools, in which attention was paid to each group of students, and at the same time, mobilized forces to provide thoughtful support for candidates.
Regarding the exam sites in Hau Giang province, the Minister of Education and Training emphasized that there are still more than 10 days until the official exam. Although Hau Giang province does not have a large number of candidates, this is a national exam so maximum care must be taken, because mistakes from one locality will affect the whole country.
Regarding the printing, copying, and transportation of exam papers and test papers, the Minister requested that Hau Giang province strictly comply with security regulations, with maximum coordination from the Public Security sector for this work.
The Minister of Education and Training noted that all stages and contents must have backup plans.
Referring to the recent emergence of high-tech fraud cases, the Minister noted the need to take special precautions against this issue.
In particular, pay attention to reminding, propagating, and educating students; maximize the responsibility of exam invigilators, and use human spirit to respond to high technology.
