Ensuring smooth policy credit operations after administrative unit merger

On the morning of July 5, many transaction points of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in Dak Lak province held their first transaction sessions after the two-level local government officially came into operation.

specifically, 6 trading sessions were held at the transaction points of Tam Giang 2, Hoa Hiep, Duc Binh Tay, Xuan Lanh, An Ninh Dong and Hoa Quang Nam.

According to records, transactions took place smoothly, stably and safely. Transaction points were arranged at the People's Committees of old communes, so people did not have to travel much.

In addition, the facilities at the transaction point are guaranteed, serving the people's transactions effectively. Customers expressed satisfaction with the disbursement, debt collection and support of credit officers.

Mr. Dao Thai Hoa, Acting Director of the Bank for Social Policies, Dak Lak Branch, said that after merging administrative units, Dak Lak province has a natural area of ​​more than 18,096 ^km2 , a population of more than 3.3 million people, with 2,801 villages, hamlets, and residential groups.

Managing a large area with a large population, the unit has stabilized the organization, arranged a reasonable personnel structure, ensuring continuous operation without interruption or disruption to best serve the people.

The branch has also requested relevant agencies and units to coordinate on some issues related to policy credit activities after the implementation of two-level local government. In addition, transaction offices are required to immediately deploy operations to ensure that disbursement, debt collection, and interest collection activities are not interrupted.

The whole province has 102 communes and wards, but the branch maintains nearly 300 transaction points to serve the people well.

Dak Lak province's total outstanding credit balance currently reaches over VND13,730 billion, with 256,544 customers still in debt. In addition to the head office, the province has 23 transaction offices and 6,253 savings and loan groups in operation.

In the coming time, the unit will enhance service capacity; Implement capital coordination plans, and reallocate targets in accordance with the needs of each locality.

At the same time, coordinate with local authorities in disseminating, monitoring and supporting credit capital policy.
