Previously, a parent posted on Facebook photos and content denouncing her son, a 7th grade student, being beaten 20 meters on the buttocks by his tutoring teacher, causing bruises. The reason was said to be because the student did the wrong homework.

Speaking to reporters, the child's mother (who requested anonymity) said her son is taking extra math and natural science lessons at the home of a 31-year-old teacher on Nguyen Khoa Dang Street (Thanh Nhat Ward) with a fee of 600,000 VND/month.

The incident happened on July 3. Due to doing the wrong homework, her son was repeatedly hit 20 meters on the buttocks by the teacher. At first, the child hid it from his mother, the family only found out when they heard the children talking to each other.

"When I saw the bruises on my son's butt, I was very upset and couldn't believe the teacher would act like that. When I complained, the teacher explained that she beat my son due to work pressure and the pressure of raising a young child. We did not accept this explanation and reported the incident to the police," the indignant parent shared.

According to this parent, after investigation, the teacher not only beat her son but also beat many other students in the extra class.

"After the authorities got involved, the teacher came to the family's house to apologize. We do not forgive this behavior, so we will not remove the post that was posted on social media. However, I still want the teacher to have a way out, so I will not specify her name or the school where she works," the female parent shared.

The parent expressed the opinion that it is acceptable for teachers to give 1-2 strokes of the cane as a deterrent, but it is unacceptable to severely beat students to vent personal pressure and frustration.

This female teacher is working at a school in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province.
