After four days of competition at the 33rd SEA Games, Vietnamese sports teams have won 30 gold medals, 28 silver medals, and 53 bronze medals. The Vietnamese delegation is currently ranked behind host country Thailand (94 gold medals) and Indonesia (31 gold medals).
December 14th is considered one of the peak days for the delegation, as Vietnamese sports have approximately 40 opportunities to compete for gold medals in various events.

The spotlight is on shooter Trinh Thu Vinh in the women's 10m air pistol event, where she seeks her first SEA Games gold medal. In wushu, Duong Thuy Vi, an icon of Vietnamese wushu, is ready to bring home more glory in the women's sword event.
In archery, Do Thi Anh Nguyet continues to be a great hope thanks to her outstanding composure and experience. The Vietnamese women's football team also has an important semi-final match against Indonesia at 4 PM.
In addition, Vietnamese athletes are also competing in swimming, athletics, canoeing, karate, taekwondo, weightlifting, boxing, cycling, golf, and volleyball, promising to bring home more gold medals on the fifth day of the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.
