DNVN - At the 2024 ASEAN Economic Forum and the 5th ASEAN Award 2024 announcement ceremony held in Singapore on May 18, OPES Insurance Joint Stock Company - a member of the ecosystem of Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank ( VPBank ) was honored as one of the Top 10 outstanding enterprises.
The ASEAN Award 2024 announcement ceremony is part of the ASEAN Economic Forum 2024. This is an annual award to honor businesses with impressive business results, entrepreneurs, and managers with many outstanding initiatives that have contributed to promoting the economy, social security, and bringing sustainable development and prosperity to the ASEAN region.
Participating in the Asean Award for the first time, surpassing hundreds of competitors, OPES digital insurance conquered the appraisal council when pioneering in technology application, digital transformation as well as achieving breakthrough growth. With this impressive achievement, OPES was honored in the Top 10 typical enterprises category.
The prestigious international award marks the achievements OPES has made based on the application of technology and digital transformation in insurance in Vietnam.
As a young enterprise, operating since 2018, OPES has a specific digitalization roadmap, promoting the application of technology, artificial intelligence Big Data, AI to improve management efficiency, create "tailor-made" products, bringing optimal satisfaction to customers.
In nearly 5 years, OPES has grown dramatically, from 5 million contracts in 2020 to 260 million contracts to date with 15 million customers and more than 90% of surveyed customers expressed satisfaction with the company's products and services. OPES's revenue has also jumped, in 2023 alone, OPES reached 156 billion VND in pre-tax profit and financial indicators are among the best in the non-life insurance market.
