At the Conference, many people who are subject to compensation for land, houses and assets attached to the land were informed by representatives of the Bao Loc City Construction Investment Project Management Board and leaders of the People's Committee of Loc Phat Ward and Loc Thanh Commune about regulations, guidelines and policies related to land acquisition for the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project.
The project has a total length of 73.62 km, starting at Km 126+484.93 in Loc Phat ward, Bao Loc city, coinciding with the end point of Tan Phu ( Dong Nai ) - Bao Loc expressway; ending point at Km 200+100, intersecting with Lien Khuong - Prenn expressway, Hiep Thanh commune, Duc Trong district.

Up to now, the final investment preparation stages related to the project are being urgently completed by the authorities and functional agencies at all levels from the province to the grassroots level so that the construction of the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project can begin as soon as possible.
Bao Loc City Construction Investment Project Management Board and Loc Phat Ward People's Committee, Loc Thanh Commune also received the handover of site clearance piles related to the project through Bao Loc City.

According to statistics, Bao Loc City has an area of 35,975 hectares of 225 households and 1 organization in Loc Phat ward, Loc Thanh commune that must be recovered to serve the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project.
Currently, Bao Loc City People's Committee is also directing agencies and units to coordinate with the People's Committees of Loc Phat Ward and Loc Thanh Commune to complete cadastral information related to land acquisition. From there, issue a notice of land acquisition for the expressway project. At the same time, implement tasks on compensation prices; measure and count the specific area of recovered land and assets and structures attached to the land to implement compensation and site clearance for the project.
Along with that, Bao Loc City People's Committee and agencies and officials are also urgently completing procedures to build resettlement areas to ensure people's lives when the State reclaims land to implement the project.

At the Conference, most of the people whose land was recovered expressed their support for the State's correct policy on the construction of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Projects in general, and the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project in particular. Thereby, it is believed that after the Project is completed and put into use, it will contribute to improving the connectivity between Lam Dong province and the national transport network, shortening the connection time between the Central Highlands provinces and the key economic region in the South and economic and social centers.
At the same time, improve the capacity of transporting goods, foreign trade, meet the increasing demand, reduce traffic congestion and accidents on National Highway 20 which is in a state of overload. From there, create a breakthrough in socio-economics, promote tourism development, ensure security and defense of Lam Dong province in particular, the Central Highlands region in general; at the same time, bring an increasingly developed, rich and happy life to the people.

In addition, people have also expressed concerns and worries directly related to their legitimate rights and interests when the State reclaims land for the project, such as: Compensation rates for each type of land, crops, structures and assets attached to the land; transparency and fairness in the measurement and counting process; documents and procedures that people need to prepare to receive compensation; the traffic system connecting to people's production areas after land is reclaimed; support policies related to resettlement and job creation for people subject to land reclamation, etc.
