At 7:00 p.m. on August 24, the center of storm No. 5 was at 17.9 degrees North latitude, 109.4 degrees East longitude; about 410 km from Nghe An, about 390 km East Southeast of Ha Tinh , and about 340 km East of North Quang Tri. The storm moved west at a speed of 15-20 km/h and is likely to strengthen.
