Bac Ninh Museum No. 1 organizes the experience program "Vietnamese Soul in Heritage"

Artisan introduces the stages of making Dong Ho folk paintings.

Attending the program were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh; representatives of specialized departments and affiliated units; Bac Ninh Library No. 1; artisans of Dong Ho folk painting village; Board of Directors, teachers and a large number of students of La Phong Xanh Primary, Secondary and High School, and Le Quy Don Fine Arts Club.

With the desire to bring heritage closer to the younger generation, the program has designed many activities that are both lively and rich in experience. Right at the exhibition space, artisans of Dong Ho painting village directly introduced and shared about the history of formation, artistic value and folk spirit contained in each traditional painting.

From listening, observing to practicing printing, the students seem to touch the "soul" of national culture, and appreciate more the talent and creativity of their ancestors. Curious eyes, loud laughter mixed with excitement created a lively, warm atmosphere, turning each lesson into an unforgettable memory.

Not only bringing joy and knowledge, the activity “Vietnamese Soul in Heritage” also contributes to arousing national pride, cultivating awareness of preserving and promoting heritage values in the community, especially among today’s youth. This is also the way that Bac Ninh Museum concretizes the spirit of “When drinking water, remember its source”, making the heroic history pages more vivid, so that heritage can truly step out of the exhibition space, and be closely present in contemporary life.
