Promoting the role of an organization representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, over the years, the Yakjin Company Limited Trade Union has always protected the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. Thereby contributing to the successful completion of the Company's production and business plan.

The General Director and the Company's Trade Union presented support to employees in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers' Month 2024.

Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (in Thuy Van Industrial Park) is a 100% foreign-owned enterprise, specializing in production and business in the Garment industry. In the past year, the company's production and business situation has been stable, the company has a need to recruit more workers, expand production scale, innovate equipment technology, and improve production capacity to meet market requirements.

In 2024, despite being affected by the general economic difficulties, the Company still ensures regular employment for employees, with an average income of over 7 million VND/person/month. The regimes on salary, bonuses and deductions for social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for employees are fully and promptly implemented.

To perform their duties well, union officials always accompany, become close friends, understand the circumstances, thoughts and aspirations of workers; promptly encourage and visit union members when they are sick, have funerals or happy events. The union executive board develops specific plans and programs of activities; proactively coordinates with employers, negotiates and signs effective implementation of collective labor agreements, organizes dialogues between Company representatives, the Union and workers...

Actively participate in councils such as: Salary, emulation and reward, discipline, participation in labor recruitment, financial disclosure... In the activities of the grassroots trade union, the inspection and supervision work has contributed to timely detecting and preventing violations of the Charter, resolutions, directives and regulations of the Trade Union; enhancing the responsibility of management, finance and trade union assets, contributing to limiting negativity and corruption, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

The Yakjin Company's grassroots trade union always closely coordinates with the business owner to ensure the good performance of its function of representing legitimate and legal interests; strengthens propaganda and education for workers on the awareness of complying with the law, the Company's internal regulations, industrial style, improving professional skills and "self-protection" capacity. Organizes periodic health check-ups twice a year to establish health records, detect and prevent occupational diseases for workers...

The Company also fully deducts and pays social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance in accordance with regulations, without any outstanding insurance premiums for employees. Coordinate with the company to develop a salary scale and make salary adjustments according to Decree 74/2024/ND-CP of the Government on regulations on regional minimum wages for employees working under labor contracts.

Mr. Nguyen Van Du - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union said: "Many legitimate opinions and recommendations of workers have been promptly resolved through the Labor Conference, dialogue between employers and employees... Actively coordinate with employers to implement grassroots democracy and periodic dialogue; review, negotiate, and promptly supplement the Collective Labor Agreement with provisions that are beneficial to workers".

Along with taking good care of the material life of workers, taking care of their spiritual life such as: Organizing cultural and sports activities has created a joyful and exciting atmosphere, strengthening solidarity between production departments, the Union coordinates with the Company to organize activities such as "Workers' Month" and respond to the month of "Occupational Safety and Hygiene", "Union Meal", giving support to workers in difficult circumstances...

Timely encourage and visit the families of union members and workers when they are sick, have funerals, happy occasions, or encounter unexpected difficulties. In 2024, the Union will fully and promptly implement policies and regimes to visit and encourage workers when they are sick, have funerals, or happy occasions with a total amount of nearly 170 million VND. Support nearly 200 million VND for 315 cases of workers affected by storm No. 3.

To continue to perform well the function of caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, workers, union officials, especially members of the Executive Committee of the Union, must constantly study and improve their professional qualifications, union working skills, and understanding of legal policies to protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members.

Build and implement well the regulations on coordination of activities between trade unions and employers, effectively organize emulation movements, especially the movement "Good workers, creative workers" associated with "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, style and morality", "Green - clean - beautiful".

Coordinate well with business owners to organize many useful activities for union members to exchange and learn such as organizing performances, sports festivals, integrating propaganda activities to disseminate legal policies, resolutions of trade unions at all levels, focusing on emulation and reward work. Strengthen supervision of the implementation of labor policies and laws.

Develop plans, proactively inspect union activities and union finances, build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the enterprise. Only then can we create motivation for employees to actively compete in labor, be creative and pioneer in carrying out production and business tasks at the Company.
