Speaking, General Phan Van Giang commended and acknowledged the efforts of the forces, especially officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances who still put aside personal matters to participate in the mission.

General Phan Van Giang said that on the main day of the parade, even if it rains like today, we still have to do it well.

"Not because of weather conditions, not because of wet clothes, not because of faces full of rain that we do not walk well. There is no time for us to do it again," General Phan Van Giang advised.

According to the General, since the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, every step, action and determination of the marching and parading forces has become much stronger.

"There are groups of 100% of comrades volunteering to participate in this parade. From that, we can see that the will, responsibility, national pride, and patriotism of cadres, soldiers, and young people are very high now.

"I really admire the comrades who participated in all three parades, from May 7, 2024 to now. Many comrades participated in two parades. There were cases where both husband and wife participated. This is something very valuable in terms of the responsibility of each person, each individual, each comrade to the collective, to the Fatherland, to the country," General Phan Van Giang expressed.

The General said that international guests watching the parade will clearly see the solidarity through the strength of the army, police, militia and guerrillas and other forces.

General Phan Van Giang also said that this is the first time that forces protecting sea and island sovereignty such as the Navy, Coast Guard, and Border Guard have participated in the parade.

"This is also an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm to the world that we have sufficient forces and military branches to ensure domestic security and firmly protect the Fatherland," the General emphasized.

With just over two weeks left until the holiday, General Phan Van Giang requested the Parade and Marching Subcommittee to direct scientific training, draw timely lessons from each individual, ensure logistics, and maintain a healthy lifestyle to prepare for the official day.

"Not only must a hundred people be as one, but every block must be as one. From the walking block, the standing block, the vehicle block, and all the forces that support us, including the comrades who march and the military band, must be as one. We have tried and we hope that in the remaining time we will be more determined," the General noted.
