On August 16, at the National Military Training Center 4 (TB4) (Hanoi), the Army and Police forces, along with weapons and equipment systems, participated in the parade and marching mission in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2 (mission A80) and conducted a comprehensive training.
Speaking at the training session, General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - said that through the parades and marches, each day, each step, each action, each deed and the determination of the forces participating in the parades and marches have become much stronger.

According to the report of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee, the parade participants are ethnic minorities accounting for nearly 15%, university graduates accounting for 53.04% and nearly 200 comrades are studying at university. Many comrades volunteered, with some groups volunteering 100% to participate in this parade and march.
General Phan Van Giang praised and acknowledged the efforts of the forces participating in the parade, especially those who had very difficult circumstances but had overcome and put aside personal matters to participate in this extremely meaningful task.

“I really admire the comrades who participated in all three parades, from May 7, 2024 to now. Many comrades participated in two parades. There were cases where both husband and wife participated in the parade. This is something to be respected in the light of the responsibility of each person, each individual, each comrade to the collective, to the Fatherland, to the country, especially to the people's armed forces,” General Phan Van Giang expressed.

General Phan Van Giang also shared memories of participating in parades and marching during his military career with officers and soldiers.
“I still remember, 40 years ago, I and my comrades were able to step foot on Ba Dinh Square. Time will never return, but memories will stay with us forever” - General Phan Van Giang shared.

In particular, General Phan Van Giang highly appreciated the parade and marching of the female groups and military band groups...
“Looking at the actions of the male and female groups, if we only look at the way we shake hands and walk, no one can tell that we are women, we are the weaker sex and we cannot be said to be weak.
Regarding facial expressions, I really hope that our young male soldiers should learn from the women. They go but they are very cheerful" - the Minister said and reminded the groups to continue to practice and promote their strengths to gradually become stronger and more majestic.

According to Minister Phan Van Giang, international guests and friends from all over the world, when watching our parade and march, looking at the Army, Police, militia and guerrillas as well as other forces, will clearly see the solidarity demonstrated through this strength.
The Minister of Defense also said that accompanying our forces will be friendly countries. It is expected that first is China, second is the Russian Federation, third is Laos, fourth is Cambodia.

Promoting the immortal spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, with the efforts, endeavors and high determination of all forces, General Phan Van Giang expressed his belief that the parade and marching activities in the upcoming Celebration will be a great success, bringing pride to the nation, the country and each officer and soldier participating in the implementation of mission A80.
