[Video] Nuclear Medicine – A Breakthrough in the Fight Against Cancer

At the scientific conference “Update on advances in Cancer and Nuclear Medicine” organized by Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) on August 16, experts shared breakthroughs in the application of nuclear medicine, opening up new hope for cancer patients.

The conference emphasized the outstanding role of nuclear medicine in early diagnosis and targeted treatment. PET/CT and SPECT/CT techniques help detect metastasis even when there are no morphological lesions. In treatment, targeted radiation therapies such as I-131, Lu-177, especially theranostics, open a new era for precision medicine and personalized treatment regimens.

This is an important forum for experts to exchange experiences, update knowledge, and aim to bring more chances of survival to millions of cancer patients in Vietnam.
