Attending the meeting, on behalf of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group ( Petrolimex ), there were also Mr. Tran Tuan Linh - Member of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu - Deputy General Director; Mr. Tran Van Giang - Head of the Board of Directors' Human Resources, Salary and Bonus Department; Mr. Tran Sy Giang - Head of the Board of Directors' General Department; Mr. Do Giang - Head of the Board of Directors' Strategy and Investment Department; Mr. Do Hoang Ha - Head of the Business Policy & Wholesale Department; Mr. Le Huy Hiep - Head of the Audit Department.
On the side of Petrolimex Saigon, there was the participation of Mr. Vo Van Tan - Chairman of the Company, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Director of the Company and members of the Board of Directors.
On the side of member units, there were the participation of Chairmen, Directors, Deputy Directors of Petroleum Companies of Long An , Tay Ninh, Song Be, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai.
After listening to the statements of some leaders of member petroleum companies, Party Secretary - Chairman of Petrolimex Board of Directors Pham Van Thanh acknowledged and directed some specific contents on policies, orientations as well as roadmap to complete the merger of member petroleum companies.
Petrolimex Chairman Pham Van Thanh affirmed that the merger of units is a policy of streamlining and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the operating apparatus that has been agreed upon in many meetings of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Group and is a necessary step according to the general policy of the Party and the State.
The arrangement must be done carefully. After the merger and streamlining of the apparatus, the units must operate effectively and efficiently, without affecting the production and business plan, and must improve productivity and expand market share.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group also highlighted the role and responsibility of the unit head in proactively working with local state management agencies to complete legal procedures and comply with the law in all activities. Regarding the implementation roadmap, by October 1, 2025, it will be completed and all new units after the merger will officially operate.
In particular, Party Secretary - Chairman of Petrolimex Board of Directors Pham Van Thanh emphasized that the new units after the arrangement must study and build superior policies and mechanisms, ensure income for workers as well as promote communication to workers so that everyone understands and accompanies the Group, together building Petrolimex more effectively, especially when the country enters a new era of sustainable development and focuses on green transition.
