| The construction site in Phu Xuan ward is still facing obstacles. |
The meeting was attended by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of the ward, Vo Le Nhat, and the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward, Nguyen Viet Bang. The ward leaders mobilized functional forces to coordinate closely, ensuring security and order, while also creating the necessary conditions for the construction unit to implement the project according to schedule.
According to the Project Management Board, while the bridge section in Kim Long ward is basically completed, the construction area in Phu Xuan ward is still facing obstacles because one household has not complied, despite having previously received full compensation and support. Notably, the area in question is state-managed land and does not affect the household's residential land use rights.
The People's Committee of Phu Xuan Ward stated that the authorities had repeatedly invited the household to work with them, explaining the situation in detail and offering support options, while still ensuring the family's daily access to the property. Ward officials also visited the household directly to persuade them, but the family still did not agree and refused to sign the meeting minutes.

In response to this situation, on September 10th, the People's Committee of Phu Xuan Ward organized a campaign to protect the construction site, focusing initially on building the access road to the bridge to ensure traffic connectivity. Simultaneously, the authorities continued to implement land clearance work according to the plan, based on the policy approved by the city.
Obstructing construction not only affects the overall progress of the project but also causes public resentment, impacts the urban landscape, and hinders the disbursement of loan funds from the ADB. Meanwhile, the majority of households in the area agree, comply strictly, and facilitate the early completion of the project.
The Van Xuan Bridge project, part of Package 37 of the Type II Urban Development Program, is nearly 40 meters long and 6.5 meters wide, connecting Pham Thi Lien Street to Le Duan Street. Once completed, the bridge will contribute to improving transportation infrastructure, urban beautification, and meeting the growing travel needs of the people.
