Despite adding three new players, the Catalan team has yet to complete the procedures for them and a number of other important faces. According to the update, there are up to 8 players who are not on the La Liga list: Joan García, Szczesny, Gerard Martin, Hector Fort, Bernal, Marcus Rashford, Roony Bardghji and Oriol Romeu (almost certainly leaving the club). This makes it impossible for coach Hansi Flick to determine the official force for the opening match against Mallorca on August 16.
Barca spent 25 million euros to buy goalkeeper Joan Garcia from Espanyol and have just renewed Szczesny, but both have not been registered.
