Uncle Ho's relics in Tuyen Quang land: Sacred heritage in the hearts of the people

Tuyen Quang was chosen by Uncle Ho as the center of revolutionary leadership, where he lived, worked and made historic decisions for the nation. From Tan Trao land, he and the Party Central Committee prepared for the August 1945 General Uprising, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

At the end of May 1945, President Ho Chi Minh returned from Pac Bo (Cao Bang) to Tan Trao, Tuyen Quang, directly directing the preparation for the August Revolution. Na Nua hut, Tan Trao communal house, Tan Trao banyan tree, Hong Thai communal house... are the places that bear the footprints of President Ho Chi Minh during the boiling days of the historic autumn of 1945. Tan Trao became the "headquarters" of the Vietnamese Revolution, a place where intelligence and determination to gain national independence converged. Here, Uncle Ho and the Party Central Committee analyzed the situation, outlined the resistance line, and prepared forces for the General Uprising.

During those heroic days, the land of Tan Trao marked important events. From the simple Na Nua hut, historic decisions were issued, changing the destiny of the nation. Tan Trao communal house, where important meetings and Uncle Ho's thoughtful advice to cadres and soldiers were witnessed. In particular, the event of the Tan Trao National Congress in August 1945 at Tan Trao communal house, a miniature model of the first National Assembly of independent Vietnam. He stood before the national delegates, spoke words calling for the spirit of national unity, paving the way for the victory of the August Revolution.

During his years of working in Tuyen Quang , Uncle Ho spent a lot of time going to villages, meeting and talking with the people. He listened to the people's thoughts and aspirations, explained the Party's revolutionary line, and aroused patriotism and fighting spirit. Uncle Ho's footprints in every village, on every stream and hill still echo in the sound of the great wind, warm, inspiring, and giving strength to many generations today.

Over 80 years, Uncle Ho's image still exists in the lives of Tuyen Quang people, not only through relics, but also through his way of life, his way of working, and his efforts to build his homeland from his own thoughts.
Teacher Pham Duy Huy, a teacher at Nhu Khe Secondary School, shared: “We bring students to the historical site so that they can learn through experience and understand that this place used to be the revolutionary headquarters, where Uncle Ho lived and directed the nation’s long-term resistance war. For us, teachers and students, that is a great source of pride.”

Comrade Nguyen Van Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang province shared: "Preserving, restoring and promoting the value of revolutionary historical relics associated with President Ho Chi Minh is an important political task, a responsibility to the people and future generations. Every year, the province welcomes hundreds of thousands of tourists, students and pupils to visit ATK Tan Trao not only to visit but also to learn from Uncle Ho, understand Uncle Ho, live and work according to his ideology, morality and style".

In addition to preserving historical values, the province has been gradually transforming the value of Ho Chi Minh heritage into a driving force for development. The Tan Trao Special National Relic Site continues to be invested in and upgraded with many important items, becoming a highlight in the development of historical and cultural tourism in the province.

In the flow of innovation, Tuyen Quang today is rising strongly with modern constructions, new industrial zones, and the people's lives are constantly improving. The people of Tuyen Quang today, from Tan Trao to Lung Cu, all carry within themselves a sacred pride in a difficult but great time. That pride is being continued by concrete actions: learning from Uncle Ho in small things, following Uncle Ho in every big task; preserving memories not only to remember but also to live more responsibly towards the homeland and country.
