Unexpectedly receiving 450 million VND from a stranger, a young man went to the police to report it

On March 10, information from the Ky Thuong Commune Police (Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh ) said that they had just coordinated to return 450 million VND to Mr. Mai Chi Thanh (21 years old, residing in Ninh Binh) after he had previously transferred the money to the wrong account of a local resident.

Previously, on the afternoon of March 7, Mr. Tran Van Quang (29 years old, residing in Ky Thuong commune) went to Ky Thuong commune police to report the unexpected receipt of 450 million VND transferred by a stranger into his account at Techcombank .

During the inspection, Ky Thuong Commune Police determined that the account owner who mistakenly transferred 450 million VND to Mr. Quang's account was Mr. Mai Chi Thanh.

After conducting verification steps and working with Mr. Thanh, on the morning of March 10, Ky Thuong Commune Police and Mr. Quang proceeded to return the money to Mr. Mai Chi Thanh.

Receiving the money back, Mr. Thanh expressed his joy and thanked the Ky Thuong Commune Police as well as Mr. Quang for their enthusiastic support and timely return of the money he had mistakenly transferred.
