Closing ceremony of Khmer summer course at Prey Veng Pagoda

On the afternoon of August 16, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province, Danh Tha, attended the closing ceremony of the 2025 Khmer summer course at Prey Veng pagoda, hamlet 4, Tri Ton commune (An Giang province).

Prey Veng Pagoda, Hamlet 4, Tri Ton Commune ( An Giang Province) held the closing ceremony of the 2025 Khmer summer course.

In the summer of 2025, Prey Veng Pagoda opened 5 Khmer classes and an English class, with 120 students, children of Khmer and Kinh people in the commune.

At the end of the exam, the pagoda awarded 4 electric bicycles to students with excellent results; 6 wall clocks to students with first and second place; awarded 25 students (200,000 VND/student); awarded 120 pairs of books to students participating in learning Khmer. The total award cost over 72 million VND.

Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province Danh Tha and Venerable Chau Son Hy presented certificates and gifts to outstanding students.

On this occasion, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province presented 10 gifts to students with difficult circumstances and those who have overcome difficulties, with funds contributed by civil servants of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province.
