Soldiers gave about 2,000 lanterns to children to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, An Giang province's armed forces organized many meaningful activities, giving about 2,000 gifts and lanterns to children of soldiers and students with difficult circumstances in the stationed area. The total value of the gifts is estimated at about 200 million VND.

Accordingly, the An Giang province armed forces organized for union members and youths to make traditional lanterns such as star lanterns, carp lanterns, etc. and organized a competition for soldiers to make beautiful lanterns. Through that, the organizing units gave about 2,000 gifts including lanterns, moon cakes, cakes, candies, etc. to children of officers, professional soldiers, defense workers and children and students in difficult circumstances in remote, border and island areas.

The 892nd Regiment Youth Union coordinated with Vinh Thanh Trung Commune Youth Union (An Giang province) to organize the "Full Moon Festival" program for local children.

Officers of Battalion 519, Regiment 893 (An Giang Provincial Military Command) presented lanterns to students in the border area.

Small gifts connect the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers with children.

Along with gift giving activities, the units also organized a full moon festival, cultural exchange, folk games, quizzes with prizes, and star lantern processions, thereby creating a joyful and warm atmosphere for the children.
