Closing the 26th session - Binh Thuan Provincial People's Council, term XI: Passing 13 important resolutions, closely following the Provincial Party Committee's policy

After an urgent, serious, democratic and responsible working session, the 26th session (special session) - 11th Provincial People's Council completed the entire proposed program and closed this afternoon (October 18).

Accordingly, based on reviewing the submissions of the Provincial People's Committee and the inspection reports of the Provincial People's Council committees, the Provincial People's Council delegates discussed and unanimously approved 13 resolutions related to socio -economic issues.

Including resolutions on Adjusting and supplementing the investment policy for the project of Investing in upgrading, renovating and purchasing equipment for 15 medical stations and general clinics in districts and Binh Thuan province; Approving the investment policy for the project of building new, repairing and renovating some items of Duc Linh High School, Duc Linh district; Approving the adjustment of the investment policy for the project of the drainage system outside the fence of Nghia Hoa Industrial Cluster, Ham Tan district; Resolution on Adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 from the excess lottery revenue in 2019 and 2020; Adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 from the provincial budget; Allowing the extension of the time for arranging capital for implementation, adjusting and supplementing the 2024 public investment plan from the provincial budget; Stipulating the percentage (%) for calculating land rental unit prices; Land rental price for land leased by the State for underground construction...

According to the assessment of the meeting chairman, these resolutions closely followed the Provincial Party Committee's policies, continued to concretize the Central Government's documents and the specific conditions of the province for implementation to meet the requirements of directing and operating socio-economic development, national defense and security in the province in 2024 and the following years.

Also at this session, the Provincial People's Council carried out personnel work according to its authority for the positions of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee to promptly complete the apparatus to ensure the continuous operation of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hoai Anh delivered a closing speech at the meeting.

In his closing speech at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hoai Anh suggested that immediately after the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee should focus on directing the concretization of resolutions within its authority, ensuring procedures in accordance with the provisions of law, and promptly putting the resolutions into practice. At the same time, regularly monitor and promptly grasp arising issues and problems for handling, or propose adjustments and supplements in accordance with the provisions of law and local practice. On the other hand, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that the Provincial People's Committee continue to direct the early completion of contents under its authority to submit to the Provincial People's Council, including regulations on land policies for ethnic minorities living in the province; adjusting the price list of land types in accordance with the provisions of the 2024 Land Law and in accordance with local practical requirements. At the same time, prepare other important and urgent contents on economy and society to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision at the next meeting.
