Ben Luc arranges commune-level administrative units according to National Assembly Resolution

The National Assembly Standing Committee issued a Resolution on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Long An province for the period 2023 - 2025. Accordingly, the Resolution resolves on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Ben Luc district.

Specifically, adjusting a part of the area of 8.18 ^km2 , population of 303 people of Tan Hoa commune to merge into Luong Hoa commune. After adjustment, Luong Hoa commune has an area of 40.14 ^km2 and population of 12,455 people.

Adjust part of the area of 4.19 km ² , population of 396 people of Tan Hoa commune to merge into Tan Buu commune. After adjustment, Tan Buu commune has an area of 22.02 km ² and a population of 10,369 people. Merge the entire area of 2.70 km ² , population of 1,011 people of Tan Hoa commune after adjustment according to the provisions in Point a and Point b of this Clause into An Thanh commune.

After the merger, An Thanh commune has an area of 28.23 ^km2 and a population of 22,206 people. Thus, after the arrangement, Ben Luc district has 14 commune-level administrative units, including 13 communes and one town. This resolution takes effect from December 1, 2024.
