(Dan Tri) - American golfer Benjamin Griffin won the Charles Schwab Challenge, which ended early this morning (May 26, Vietnam time).

At the end of the final day on the morning of May 26, Benjamin Griffin won the championship with a total score of -12 strokes. Second place went to Matthias Schmid (Germany), with a total score of -11 strokes. Meanwhile, Bud Cauley (USA) came in third, with a total score of -9 strokes.

The golfer who attracted much attention at this year's tournament is world number one Scottie Scheffler (USA) who continues to play well.

Just a week ago, Scottie Scheffler won the PGA Championship. This time, Scottie Scheffler finished T4 at the Charles Schwab Challenge.

The world number one golfer and reigning Olympic champion had a total score of -8 strokes, equal to the result of Tommy Fleetwood (England). These two are in T4 position (tied for 4th place).

Another golfer who has been getting a lot of attention ahead of the tournament is two-time Olympic bronze medalist Hideki Matsuyama (Japan) in 2020 and 2024. He is in T36, tied with former world number one Jordan Spieth (USA). Each has a total score of -2 strokes.
