On the morning of May 13, comrade Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council inspected the progress and encouraged cadres and workers constructing the 500kV line 3 project in Nghi Son town and Nhu Thanh district.

According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, up to now, Thanh Hoa province has handed over the site of 299/299 column foundation locations and 110/137 anchor spaces; as of May 12, 2024, there are still 27 anchor spaces that have not been handed over to the construction unit. Based on the commitment of the districts, by May 20, 2024 at the latest, the site will be handed over to the investor to carry out leveling, creating a clean site, ensuring that by May 30, 2024, 100% of the anchor spaces will be handed over to meet the conditions for energizing the power line.
The location of column 50A and anchorage VT48-50A in Tan Truong commune, Nghi Son town is under construction.
In Nghi Son town, there are 19.7 km with 42 locations; in Nhu Thanh district, there are 4.2 km with 11 locations. When inspecting the actual location of column 50A and the VT48-50A anchorage in Tan Truong commune (Nghi Son town); column 71, the 70-71 anchorage in Thanh Ky commune (Nhu Thanh), the Provincial Party Secretary highlighted the significance and importance of the 500kV line 3 project and emphasized: This is a national key project, directly directed by the Prime Minister to promote development and ensure national energy security.
Through inspection of construction sites, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung highly appreciated and commended all levels, sectors, investors, contractors, and local authorities where the project passed through for their efforts to overcome many difficulties to hand over clean sites to contractors to carry out construction of foundation pits and anchoring spaces.

To implement the project on schedule as directed by the Prime Minister, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung stated: From now until the completion of the project is about 1 month, but the workload is still very large, the construction is carried out in unusual weather conditions, so it is recommended that Vietnam Electricity Group and the National Power Transmission Corporation, the units directly implementing the project, must closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to focus on removing difficulties and obstacles, and implementing the construction on schedule. Along with that, provincial departments and branches need to guide local Party committees and authorities to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles when implementing the project; and report to provincial leaders for direction and resolution of matters beyond their authority.
Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung requested that by May 20, Nghi Son town and Nhu Thanh district must resolve difficulties and problems regarding the site so that the contractor can ensure the proposed progress.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested that localities pay attention to coordinating with contractors to ensure security and order, creating favorable conditions for officers, engineers and workers to work at the construction site. Contractors and investors need to clearly identify that project construction is an honor to contribute to the development of the country, so they need to focus highly, ensure progress, ensure quality, technical and aesthetic aspects of the project.

Also during the inspection trip, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung directly met with a number of households involved in the site clearance work for the power grid corridor to grasp their aspirations and to propagate and mobilize people to properly comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, for the common development interests of the province and the country.
