Provincial Party Secretary Giang Pao My visited and encouraged victims of landslides at Ta Pao Ho 1A Hydropower Project.

The victims being treated at the Provincial General Hospital include 4 people: Doan Van Vinh (born in 1984, permanent residence in Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province); Luong Van Sinh (born in 1970, permanent residence in Que Phong district, Nghe An province); Mong Van Quy (born in 1986, permanent residence in Que Phong district, Nghe An province); Lu Van Phan (born in 1985, permanent residence in Que Phong district, Nghe An province). The patients were transferred to the Provincial General Hospital on the afternoon of May 16 and were promptly cared for, diagnosed and treated by doctors and nurses there.

Comrade Giang Pao My - Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation kindly visited and encouraged the patients injured in the landslide.

During the visit, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Giang Pao My personally went to each hospital bed, kindly asked about the health, shared the difficulties and losses that the victims and their families had to go through. At the same time, he acknowledged the efforts of the medical team who had promptly provided treatment and requested the Health Sector to continue to focus on providing the best care and treatment for the patients, ensuring their health so that they can soon stabilize their lives.

Comrade Giang Pao My - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the Party Committee, government and people of the province always stand side by side to support families affected by natural disasters, and at the same time requested all levels and sectors to step up the work of overcoming consequences, searching for missing victims, supporting people to stabilize their lives and prevent risks during the flood season.

Previously, on May 16, at the construction site of the Ta Pao Ho 1A hydropower project in Si Lo Lau commune, Phong Tho district, the upper slope collapsed, burying 5 people missing and 4 injured. Immediately after receiving the information, the forces approached the scene, organized search and rescue, and used cars to take the 4 injured people to the Si Lo Lau commune health station for emergency treatment and to the provincial general hospital for emergency treatment.
