In Thang Binh district, the delegation inspected the field and discussed with representatives of local authorities, the Provincial Economic Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board, and relevant departments and branches about a number of resettlement projects, social housing for workers, and the renovation of a number of areas.

In Duy Xuyen district, the delegation inspected resettlement areas serving the Nam Hoi An Resort project. According to the report of Duy Xuyen district People's Committee, by February 28, 2025, for 5 projects invested by Ky Ha Chu Lai Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, the site clearance area (GPMB) reached 135.6/239.2ha (56.6%), the invested value was 542.1 billion VND (total investment capital of 1,600 billion VND), but only 501.4 billion VND was disbursed.

Of these, 1,510/4,828 resettlement plots have been completed, with 829 plots arranged for resettlement. However, among the plots arranged for resettlement, there are still 161 plots that have not been granted land use right certificates.

People complained about the difficulties caused by the lack of infrastructure, such as the lack of drainage ditches and lighting, which made many households reluctant to settle down. The district proposed that the province approve the general urban planning of Duy Hai - Duy Nghia and invest in a new cemetery to meet the need for moving graves.

In Dien Ban town, the delegation surveyed a number of social housing projects and resettlement areas serving large projects such as Phong Thu bridge, DT608 road, and the northern belt road.

The report said that 4 low-income residential areas in Dien Nam Trung ward have not completed land clearance; while some other resettlement areas and social housing areas are also facing many difficulties or are unfinished, still needing to carry out some procedures. Dien Ban town proposed that the province support 65 billion VND from the Quang Nam Development Investment Fund to complete 2 resettlement areas in Dien Hoa and Dien Tien communes.

Talking with local leaders and departments at the project sites, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet said that the inspection trip aimed to assess the current situation of social housing, listen to the situation so that in the future there will be a direction to remove obstacles, helping localities speed up progress.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet directed the provincial Economic Zones and Industrial Zones Management Board to strengthen coordination with localities. Investors need to prioritize resources to complete infrastructure, ensuring the lives of people in resettlement areas. At the same time, they must aim to meet the social housing targets of Quang Nam in the coming time.

The Provincial Party Secretary noted that the settlement of social housing and resettlement in projects must be given special priority, in the context that the Eastern region is an important driving force in the province's development, and is the foundation for long-term development.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested localities to continue focusing on work, not to be distracted, hesitant, or delay the progress of common work because of the policy of rearranging, merging, and eliminating district level.

Localities must continue to implement the assigned tasks. The next tasks will be calculated and handed over to the commune level or departments and branches to continue implementing according to the assigned authority after restructuring the apparatus, ensuring common development goals.
