It seemed that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team would be defeated at home in the final match of the second leg of SEA V-League 2025 when they lost the first two sets to Thailand. However, timely adjustments in personnel and playing style, especially the brilliant performance of Bich Tuyen, helped the Vietnamese girls turn the tables and win an emotional 3-2 victory.
"Thailand actively made it difficult for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team with their offensive serves, so in the first two games we were a bit overwhelmed and made many mistakes.
Entering game 3, thanks to the encouragement and adjustments from coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet, we gradually improved our defense, took the first step better, and from there, promoted our strengths in the attack to win," said Bich Tuyen .

This is the first time in history that Vietnamese women's volleyball team has defeated Thailand. Not only did they win the championship, Bich Tuyen and her teammates also received many other individual awards.
Accordingly, with impressive performances in 3 matches in the second leg, Bich Tuyen was honored in two categories: "Best Opposite Setter" and "Best All-Around Athlete". The 2000-born hitter was the top scorer for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in the match against Thailand (45 points).

In addition, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh received the "Best Main Attacker" award, alongside her opponent Chatchuon Moksri of Thailand. Another player of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, received the "Best Middle Blocker" award, alongside Wimonrat Thanapan of Thailand. The "Best Libero" award went to Jazareno (Philippines), while Pornpun (Thailand) received the "Best Setter" title.
