Ho Chi Minh City won first place in the 2025 National Roller Sports Championship

After 3 days of competition, on the afternoon of August 17, the 2025 National Championship and National Age Group Championship for Roller Sports ended.

Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation led in both tournaments, with the results of 9 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 6 bronze medals at the National Championship and 12 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 7 bronze medals at the 2025 National Age Group Roller Sports Championship. This result shows that the Ho Chi Minh City delegation still performed outstandingly thanks to the close attention and investment of the locality.

Meanwhile, at the national championship, the Hanoi team came in second place with 5 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 1 bronze medal; the Tay Ninh team came in third place with 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals.

In the national age group championship of Roller Sports, second place went to Tay Ninh with 9 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 11 bronze medals; third place went to Bac Ninh with 3 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.

The 2025 National Championship and National Age Group Championship for Roller Sports organized by the Vietnam Sports Department, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Vietnam Skating and Roller Federation on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); Continuing to respond to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

The National Championship is the highest arena in Vietnam for Roller Sports, held annually for excellent athletes nationwide to compete. Through the tournament, experts will evaluate the quality of training and coaching of athletes in provinces and cities nationwide and select athletes for the national team to prepare for international Roller Sports competitions, including the 33rd SEA Games in December 2025 in Thailand.

Taking place over 3 days (from August 15 to 17) at the National Sports Complex (Hanoi), the 2025 National Championship and National Age Group Championship for Roller Sports will have the participation of more than 200 athletes from 12 provinces and cities: Bac Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Dong Thap, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Son La and Hanoi, competing in the categories: Speed ​​roller skating, Artistic roller skating, Skateboarding.
