In Dak Lak , the harvest season is bustling with an area of about 40,000 hectares, of which 26,600 hectares are bearing fruit, with an expected output of more than 392,000 tons. This is an important season when durian continues to play a key role in exports after Vietnam signed a protocol with China allowing the export of fresh and frozen durian.
However, some shipments have been warned for violating quarantine and food safety regulations. To avoid risks, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has issued a Directive requiring strict management of new planting areas, monitoring of planting area codes and packaging facilities, and preventing premature harvesting. Departments, branches and businesses are also required to apply digital technology , traceability, cold storage, and strictly comply with technical processes and safety standards to protect export reputation in the international market.
