Details of Jaecoo J6 electric about to launch in Vietnam, about 900 million VND

According to the sales consultant at the dealership, initially, the Jaecoo J6 in Vietnam will only have the AWD version.

Recently, Jaecoo J6 2025 - the electric off-road SUV model of Chery Group - rolled out and appeared at an event in Hanoi , before its expected launch in the Vietnamese market around next September.

As a pure electric SUV, the Jaecoo J6 has a closed front end instead of a traditional grille. The boxy design language is also applied on the J6, similar to its "senior" J7. The lighting system uses LED lights combined with vertically arranged daytime running lights.

The car uses a set of 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels. The basic specifications include 4,342 mm long, 1,926 mm wide, 1,741 mm high, and a wheelbase of 2,715 mm. Thus, this model has a size between the B-size and C-size SUV segments.

The square rear design and vertical taillights create a sense of harmony with the front. The rear door opens horizontally, however, the version appearing in the Vietnamese market does not come with an external storage box like in the home market of China.

The Jaecoo J6 AWD is equipped with 2 electric motors located on 2 axles, generating a total capacity of 275 horsepower and maximum torque of 385 Nm. Thanks to that, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 150 km/h.

The Jaecoo J6 AWD's electric motor is combined with a 69.77 kWh battery, providing a range of 364 km according to the WLTC standard. The car supports DC fast charging with a capacity of 80 kW, allowing charging from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes. If using AC slow charging, the battery can be fully charged in up to 12.5 hours.

According to the sales consultant at the dealership, initially, the Jaecoo J6 in Vietnam will only have the AWD version. Meanwhile, the RWD version has not yet been scheduled to launch. The selling price of the Jaecoo J6 in Vietnam is expected to fluctuate around 900 million VND.
