The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has just issued a weather forecast bulletin for the whole country in August. Of which, 1-2 storms and tropical depressions may appear in the East Sea and may affect the mainland of Vietnam.

Accordingly, in the North and the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue, there is a possibility of some widespread heavy rains. In the Central Highlands and the South, in August, there will be many days of showers and thunderstorms, mainly concentrated in the evening, in which some days there may be moderate to heavy rain. Across the country, there is a possibility of dangerous weather phenomena such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Heat waves continue to occur in the North, from Thanh Hoa to Hue and the South Central Coast, concentrated in the first half of August 2025, then gradually decrease.
