Today, August 4, the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training have handed over the decision to recognize Associate Professor Bui Huy Nhuong as the director of the National Economics University. Associate Professor Bui Huy Nhuong's predecessor was Professor Pham Hong Chuong, who has just reached the age to retire from management.

Associate Professor Bui Huy Nhuong, 52 years old, is a former student of the 32nd class of economics at the National Economics University. He graduated with a master's degree in business administration from Boise University, USA in 1997, and successfully defended his doctoral thesis in economics at the National Economics University in 2007. He was awarded the title of associate professor in 2011.
Before being appointed as Director of National Economics University, he was the Vice Director of the school.
At the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Minh Son, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, said that the National Economics University is an academic center that has a profound influence on the process of planning socio-economic development policies of the capital and the whole country. This is also a place where leading Vietnamese experts and scientists in the field of economics gather.
Therefore, the head of the National Economics University has the responsibility to continue to promote the pioneering mission, leading innovation in the university education system, together with the school.
