According to People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation, in response to the fundraising launch of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to support people suffering from storms and floods, all artists, staff and workers of the federation contributed one day's salary.
Along with that, the Vietnam Circus Federation also organized a performance of the play “The Boy Returning from the Green Forest” to call on the audience to join hands in supporting. All revenue from ticket sales will be transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people in localities that are suffering a lot of damage due to storms and floods.
According to People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, joining hands to support people affected by natural disasters has become an annual activity of the Vietnam Circus Federation. Each fundraising program and charity performance demonstrates the kindness and the spirit of "helping each other" of the artists.
The audience's support, even through just a ticket, is also of great significance. It is not only a material contribution, but also a source of spiritual encouragement, sending love and sympathy to the people who are suffering many losses.
“We believe that art not only brings joy but also has the power to connect people. Every performance, every round of applause in this show is filled with love and compassion for the people in the flood-affected areas,” People’s Artist Tong Toan Thang expressed.

Choosing to perform “The Boy Returning from the Jungle” to raise funds is also very meaningful. The play is inspired by the classic “The Jungle Boy”, elaborately staged, skillfully combining human and animal circus with modern music and lighting effects.
During the program, the audience enjoyed eye-catching animal circus performances (horses, monkeys, pythons, goats, parrots...) and human circus performances (acrobatics, swinging, juggling, dangerous spinning, hula hooping...).

Not only entertaining, "The Boy Who Returned from the Jungle" also conveys profound lessons about love of nature, the bond between humans and all species, and awareness of protecting the living environment.
The circus conveys the message: Every human action that impacts nature will have consequences that humans must bear. Through that, the work contributes to educating and raising awareness of environmental protection, to protect the lives of ourselves and others.
