Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has just commented on a series of issues related to tourism, service and urban projects in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.
Accordingly, the leaders of Binh Dinh province assigned the Management Board of the Economic Zone of this province to review the project documents, work with and request investors to implement the project in accordance with the provisions of law, and handle violations (if any) for the Phuong Mai Bay Resort project and the expansion project to the east of Hai Giang Merry Land Tourist Area.

Regarding the Merry Land Quy Nhon commercial tourism and entertainment complex project, the Binh Dinh Economic Zone Management Board requires investors to implement the project in accordance with regulations. At the same time, coordinate with relevant agencies and units to urgently calculate land rental fees for the project.
Urge investors to implement in accordance with regulations, handle violations (if any) for the Green Paradise Luxury Resort project (now Laimian project) and projects of FLC Group Joint Stock Company.
"For the Cat Hai Bay Luxury Resort project; the Resort, Nursing and Rehabilitation project; the Phu Hau - Cat Tien Amusement Park project, the Binh Dinh Economic Zone Management Board and Phu Cat district are required to coordinate with relevant parties to focus on and speed up compensation and site clearance work to ensure project implementation progress.
"The units must review the documents and legal procedures, consider and handle them according to legal regulations, and not delay the implementation of the project of Converting to urban residential land on a part of the area of the Nhon Hoi Trade, Service and Tourism Center project," the leader of Binh Dinh province requested.
According to Mr. Dang Vinh Son, Head of the Binh Dinh Economic Zone Management Board, for the two projects that are behind schedule, including Phuong Mai Bay Resort and Conversion to urban residential land on a part of the area of the Nhon Hoi Trade, Service and Tourism Center project, the board has worked with the investor and the two sides have committed to the project progress.
"However, we require investors of the two delayed projects mentioned above to prove their financial capacity. If any project does not have sufficient capacity, the Board will consider handling it, then take steps to revoke the project," said Mr. Son.
According to Mr. Son, for projects that are still in progress, the board is coordinating with investors to adjust and remove some obstacles such as: calculating land use fees, consolidating legal status, adjusting planning... so that the projects can be implemented on schedule and in accordance with legal regulations.
