Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, said that the province has identified tourism as one of the five pillars of growth with the orientation of becoming a key economic sector. However, instead of over-developing tourism like other places, Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh is still a "hidden gem" for tourists, still retaining its wild features and not yet being touristized. Quy Nhon City also does not have many high-rise buildings, low population density and has more than 7 km of coastline right in front, which is an advantage for tourism development.
