According to a representative of the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province, since the beginning of 2023, the province has implemented many synchronous solutions to continue building Binh Dinh into a safe, civilized, friendly and attractive destination. In addition to strengthening the implementation of state management in the field of tourism, promoting communication activities to raise awareness of tourism development in the business community and the residential community, the province has organized many cultural, sports , tourism and trade events to promote rapid recovery and growth of tourism.

With the efforts of all levels, sectors and the business community, Binh Dinh tourism has achieved many encouraging results. In the first 7 months of 2023, the number of visitors (up 20%) and tourism revenue (up 25%) both increased compared to the same period in 2022. However, the current economic situation in the world in general and Vietnam in particular is still facing many difficulties and challenges, which will continue to have a significant impact on tourism, especially in the last months of the year, when tourism enters the low season in the central region, including Binh Dinh entering the rainy and stormy season.

In order to continue implementing solutions to restore tourism development, ensuring the growth target of Binh Dinh tourism set for 2023 of 5 million visitors, the Department of Tourism and Binh Dinh Tourism Association coordinated with the participation of 51 organizations and individuals providing tourism services in the fields of accommodation, travel, transportation, restaurants, destinations, etc. to implement a program to stimulate Binh Dinh tourism in the low tourist season of 2023.

Accordingly, for groups of 20 people or more, accommodation establishments will reduce room rates by at least 50% (for hotels), 30% (for resorts) compared to listed room rates; reduce food and beverage services by at least 10% and hall rental prices by at least 20% compared to listed prices.

For domestic and international travel service businesses: at least 30% discount on profits after discounting services included in the tour program. For tourist transport businesses: at least 20% discount on listed prices. For food establishments: at least 5% to 10% discount on listed prices. For tourist areas and attractions: at least 10% discount on food services; at least 16-50% discount on entrance tickets; at least 30-50% discount on accommodation services in tourist areas and attractions and at least 30% discount on other services compared to listed prices.

Mr. Huynh Cao Nhat, Deputy Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, said that this year we have set seven goals, including six programs related to Binh Dinh culture and history to meet the tourism needs of visitors during the low season.

To promote the results achieved in 2022, the Department of Tourism and Binh Dinh Tourism Association will continue to implement solutions to promote and attract tourists to Binh Dinh, ensuring the growth target of Binh Dinh tourism set for 2023 is 5 million visitors. Thereby, promoting promotion and communication activities, building Binh Dinh tourism into a "Safe, friendly, civilized and attractive destination"; gradually building and developing, making Quy Nhon-Binh Dinh a favorite destination for organizing MICE tourism in Vietnam.
