On February 27, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Appraisal Council to consider and propose recognition of communes meeting new rural standards, advanced new rural standards, and model new rural standards in the province for the period 2021 - 2025.
Attending the meeting were leaders of departments, branches and sectors who are members of the Appraisal Council to consider and propose recognition.
At the meeting, leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment reported the results of the appraisal of dossiers and the level of achievement of new rural standards, advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas in 2024 in localities in Binh Thuan province.

After analyzing and discussing the achievements and limitations of each commune, the members of the Appraisal Council voted to recognize 5 communes meeting the NTM standards in 2024: Phan Dien commune, Binh Tan commune (Bac Binh district); Da Mi commune (Ham Thuan Bac district); Gia Huynh commune and Mang To commune (Tanh Linh district).
There are 8 communes that meet advanced NTM standards in 2024: Ham Liem commune (Ham Thuan Bac district); Ham Minh commune (Ham Thuan Nam district); Tan Duc commune (Ham Tan district); Bac Ruong commune (Tanh Linh district).
Duc Linh district alone has 3 communes that will meet the advanced NTM standards by 2024: Sung Nhon commune, Vu Hoa commune and Nam Chinh commune. La Gi town has Tan Phuoc commune.

It is noteworthy that there are 4 communes that meet the model NTM standards in 2024, namely Ham Cuong commune (Ham Thuan Nam district) and 3 communes Me Pu, Dong Ha, Tra Tan of Duc Linh district.
The voting rate for communes meeting new rural standards, advanced new rural standards and model new rural standards in 2024 reached 100%.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested relevant departments, branches and localities in the coming time to focus on monitoring and investing additional resources to maintain and repair infrastructure systems for communes that have been recognized as meeting new rural, advanced rural and model new rural standards in 2024.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee requested that sectors and localities create more jobs for local workers.
